The charity sector is one of the most vulnerable to fraud, with the proportion of lost revenue more
than triple that of the private sector. In 2019 UK charities lost £2.1 billion to fraud. It is vital
therefore for charities and their staff to be aware of the danger fraud can pose and how to prevent
it from happening.

Written by an expert in charity fraud, this eLearning course has been designed to show you what constitutes fraud, how to identify it and why charities must have robust procedures in place to protect against it. It has been developed in line with guidelines issued by the Charities Commission aimed at protecting UK charities from fraud.

Focuses on how to spot this type of fraud, shows some steps you can take to prevent it from happening.

6. Policies and reporting
Covers how to best raise concerns you may have about fraud.

7. Knowledge check
A quiz requiring an 80% score to pass.
